TBSO Changes Things Up with Stay at Home Order
The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra just announced their plans for the second half of their 59.5 Season days ago. However, with the ever-changing circumstances in Ontario the TBSO will be using this time to connect with their audience in a new way.
With the new stay at home order in effect, the TBSO will be staying home and staying safe along with the rest of our community. While new live streaming performances will be placed on hold, they are pleased to be able to share some previously recorded concerts from earlier in the season. As well, over the past several months, the TBSO has been creating additional recorded projects that they will share via their website and social media. They will continue to create as much musical content as these new guidelines will allow in order to provide the community with high-caliber entertainment.
Not being able to have a live audience has given the TBSO motivation to discover new ways to connect with music lovers in Thunder Bay and beyond. It is certainly different from anything they’ve done previously but the TBSO is committed to providing music to their supporters and the community.
Recorded performances and projects will still be available on their website regularly for the duration of the stay at home order for people to enjoy. For more information please visit tbso.ca.
