The TBSO’s Director of Development and Principal Oboe, Colleen Kennedy, has been awarded the Rivi Frankle Award for Fundraising Management.

Alongside playing full time in the orchestra and her Director of Development role, Colleen has been a student at Toronto Metropolitan University for the past two years, enrolled in their Certificate in Fundraising Management program. She has become an intrepid leader on our team and we are so proud to have her.

Colleen has been a passionate member of the Thunder Bay arts community for years and strives to bring her new found knowledge and skills back home to the TBSO:

“Everything I’ve learned in these courses, I’ll be bringing back to my community and hoping to inspire people here.”
