TBSO Announces Second Half of Season 59.5
With the end of the holiday season and a new year in full swing, the TBSO will continue to offer small chamber performances to music lovers in its second half of the 2020/21 Season.
During the first half of our Season 59.5, we had the opportunity to offer both in-person and online concerts to our supporters. It was a thrill to have an audience again, experiencing a new take on the Symphony they love. Our chamber music format was well received, even when it could only be performed via live-stream.
As we move forward, we will continue to evaluate our responsibility when it comes to inviting audiences into our space.
One of our goals is to provide a live concert experience, while another is to broaden the reach of our orchestra. This season has allowed us to discover new ways to reach out and connect with people and we will continue to do just that.
Providing music to our community and beyond is what we love to do. Our musicians, staff, and board members are committed to offering you sounds to soothe your soul.
During the second half of our Season 59.5, from January through March, we will continue offering smaller chamber concerts that will be available online and in person – as safety precautions permit. We have an interesting and exciting collection of concerts that we think will appeal to many.
Live streaming concerts will begin January 22, with two concerts taking place that Friday night at 6:30pm and 8:30pm. To view these concerts and learn more about upcoming performances, visit www.tbso.ca.
Due to the ever-changing circumstances in our community, the programs and showtimes are subject to change.
