Featuring Peter Shackleton, clarinet | Paul Haas conducting
The TBSO is so much more than an orchestra. It’s a gathering of virtuosos, an army of generals! The program starts with Jocelyn Morlock’s poignant tribute to the death of 15-year-old Amanda Todd, followed by a moving Élégie by Fauré. Next, Principal Clarinet Peter Shackleton, who’s been a soloist with both the Toronto Symphony and the NAC Orchestra, will amaze you in Rossini’s sparkling Variations. The evening closes with Mozart’s heroic Symphony No. 39, performed by 30 soloists: your own TBSO!
To qualify to receive up to two TBSO Access Passes to this concert, you must be under the age of 30, pre-register, and provide photo ID.
