CanadaHelps.org is a non-profit services that enables Canadian charities to receive secure on-line donations. Giving through CanadaHelps.org is easy and secure, and allows you to direct your donation to your preferred area of support.
Frequently Asked Questions
What payment options are accepted?
The TBSO accepts cash, cheques, money orders, Visa, and Mastercard.
If you choose to donate on-line, CanadaHelps.org accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Interac on-line.
Can I donate on a monthly basis?
The TBSO is delighted to accept monthly donations from your credit card. Just let us know your preferred monthly amount when you donate by mail, in person, or over the phone.
If you choose to donate on-line, CanadaHelps.org also offers a monthly withdrawal option from either your credit card or your bank account.
When will I get my tax receipt?
Unless otherwise requested, we will mail your tax receipt within one to two weeks of the day we receive your donation. When you donate monthly, you will receive two tax receipts. The first will be issued for donations made from January 1 to June 30, the second will be issued for donations made from July 1 to December 31.
What kind of recognition will I receive?
Donations of $100 or more will be recognized in our concert programs. Donations In Memory or In Celebration are recognized in a separate section of our concert program.
