Youth Strings
The string teachers of Thunder Bay can send their most musically motivated string students to a one day musical intensive designed to give Thunder Bay’s collective string players an opportunity to shine. Students spend the day working with TBSO musicians in sectionals and rehearsals, team building activities and meals that end in a joint concert showcasing a TBSO String Quartet and the students of the TBSO Youth Strings. The TBSO Youth Stings will equip and encourage young string players with tools of success that they will take back to their classrooms and private lessons.
