Musicians-in-the-Class
Designed to bring the concert hall to your school, the Musicians-in-the-Classroom (MIC) project brings the TBSO right to your school! A group of TBSO musicians will perform for your school and top it off with an inquiry based question and answer session designed to familiarize students with the life and work of professional musicians. Participating teachers will receive a student work package complete with materials for teachers to use both during the sessions and in subsequent classes. The MIC program will familiarize and inspire your students in the musical and relational ways that recorded music simply can’t.
The MIC program is run in the Fall each season. Les presentations se feront aussi en français.
