Each year, the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra brings the concert hall to your elementary school through the ‘Musicians in the Classroom’ program!

The ‘Musicians in the Classroom’ program brings a small ensemble of musicians into your Grade 5 or 6 classroom for a 45-60 minutes presentation that provides students with the opportunity to meet the TBSO musicians and their instruments up close and personal. Les présentations se feront aussi en français.

The presentations consist of a musical performance presented with introductory and explanatory material, and Q&A session with the musicians to learn more about the music, instruments, and the lives of professional musicians. Each ensemble consists of 4-6 musicians, typically representing one family of instruments in the orchestra (strings, woodwinds, and brass).

Cost: $85+HST ($96.05) per class. Invoicing of your school will follow the concerts.

Registration Deadline: December 5, 2016
