A TBSO classic and Thunder Bay seasonal-must, the Holiday Pops is one of the most popular presentations of the year. This season TBSO’s Resident Conductor, Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, brings his wit and charm to this
holiday classic featuring your favourites. Note: New time, 7PM, so all ages can get in the holiday spirit.

3 – Ol’Blue Eyes

Australian vocalist, Daniel Matto, made his North American debut in Nova Scotia and is now coming to Thunder Bay! Matto joins the TBSO to present a tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra.

4 – A Tribute to John Williams

American composer, conductor and pianist, John Williams has given us some of the most recognizable film scores in the history of motion pictures. In this tribute, you’ll enjoy some of his famous scores, including Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Schindler’s List.

5 – For Michael – The Music of Michael Jackson

Jeans ‘n Classics has delighted concert goers with their renditions of Elton John, Queen and last season Fleetwood Mac. Now, the TBSO and Jeans ‘n Classics pays homage to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. You’ll hear some of the earliest hits by the Jackson 5 through to MJ’s greatest hits, including Billie Jean, Beat It and of course, Thriller!

6 – Music of the Night

Canadian performer, Michael Burgess, and pianist David Warrack, join the TBSO for an evening of music from Broadway – including the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.  You may remember Michael Burgess as Jean Valjean from the Toronto Production of Les Misérables.
